Hello, and welcome to our blog. I am the Medical and Scientific Director for Center of Excellence. What a fantastic place to work! After finishing a post-doc at the National Cancer Institute, I started a career in pharmaceutical communications, and have been active in continuing medical education for the past 10 years...although I do love what I do so much that sometimes it just doesn't feel like a "job" at all!

In the upcoming months, I will be telling you about breaking news from the national and international meetings that I (or one of my colleagues) am attending. The 13th International Myeloma Workshop starts tomorrow in Paris, and I can't wait to hear from our President, who is attending this congress. June 4 through 8 is the 2011 ASCO Annual Meeting, and we will be blogging from Chicago, Illinois. Between June 9 and 12, I will be blogging from the 16th EHA Congress in London, and between June 14 and 18 from the 11th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma in Lugano, Switzerland.

I am looking forward to telling you about the exciting science and clinical data that will be released and discussed at these meeting...and I am looking forward to hearing your comments, too. Let me know if there is anything in particular you would like to hear about. What we learn at these meetings will form the basis of upcoming educational activities.
