Statement of Need
The purpose of this activity is to enhance knowledge concerning the treatment of patients with MM.

Target Audience
The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of physicians, nurses, and pharmacists involved in the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma (MM).

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Discuss the importance of patient risk stratification in the treatment of MM
Explain how the emergence of novel agents may affect the outcome of high-risk patients with MM across the life cycle of the disease
Recall effective strategies for minimizing adverse events in patients with high-risk cytogenetics
