Target Audience
This activity was developed for oncology nurses and pharmacists who wish to enhance their knowledge concerning the management of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV).

Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity participants should be able to:
  • Identify the potential complications and costs of uncontrolled chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)
  • Describe recent advances in the treatment of patients experiencing CINV
  • Review best practices for the supportive care andmanagement of patients with CINV, based on clinical data, clinical practice guidelines, and patient case studies
  • Examine benefit design approaches based on new and emerging antiemetic therapies and drug delivery systems
  • Discuss evidence-based, cost-effective treatment strategies for improving clinical outcomes in patients with CINV
