Target Audience
This activity was developed for pharmacy directors, P&T Committee members, managed care pharmacists, oncology pharmacists, and other key stakeholders who wish to enhance their knowledge concerning the implementation of a value-based benefit design for cancer care.

Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity participants should be able to:
  • Incorporate health economics studies into the treatment of multiple myeloma
  • Recognize the role of value (cost, quality, and access) of current therapy considerations in the treatment of multiple myeloma
  • Identify the intersection of epidemiologic shifts in the patient with multiple myeloma, total therapy cost considerations, and new diagnostic measures, on achieving value-based clinical treatment
  • Understand how the NCCN clinical practice treatment guidelines are aiding all stakeholders in attaining value-based cancer care amidst rising new product costs
